Winter & Après-Ski

Is there an age restriction?

No, there isn't.

Are there seats available during après-ski?

Yes, our cosy parlours, the large indoor area, and the winter terrace offer plenty of seating. However, on peak days these fill up quickly.

For restaurant guests looking for something a bit quieter, we recommend our rustic parlours. Here you can enjoy your meal in a relaxed atmosphere – even during après-ski.

How do guests describe the après-ski?

Emotional, wild, full of energy – a true party heart of the Montafon.

When does après-ski start at the Vermala Wirt?

Daily from 2:00 p.m. – with our resident DJ, pure party atmosphere, and legendary mountain hut fun.

Can you rent toboggans?

Yes – directly at the valley station of the Garfrescha chair lift. There are several toboggan rental stations where you can quickly and easily rent your toboggan. You can also purchase your ticket for the uphill ride right at the valley station.

Do I need a reservation for the tobogganing evening?

Yes, please – especially during the holiday periods and in February.
Important: Guests with reservations must arrive by 7:00 p.m., otherwise the table will be passed on to waiting guests.

Spontaneous visitors are of course always very welcome. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee a table. However, there’s often a free spot somewhere, so nothing stands in the way of an evening full of hut fun and partying.

How long is the toboggan run?

You toboggan down the longest illuminated natural toboggan run in Vorarlberg – a real experience. 5.5 km long, 637 metres of elevation, and 20 minutes of pure tobogganing fun.

When does the tobogganing evening take place?

Every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. In certain weeks, there are additional tobogganing evenings. Our resident DJ performs at all tobogganing events, and on Saturdays our live music also rocks the cosy parlours. The hut party runs until 10:00 p.m., after which the descent by toboggan must begin. Floodlights are on until 10:30 p.m.
